"I don't think it is an exaggeration to say that East Luwu is the future of Indonesia and even the world. Why ? "Because if we look at this area, according to Indonesian standards, East Luwu is above the national average for indicators, such as relatively good poverty and unemployment rates." said the Head of the East Luwu Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Herbudiman Suandy, to reporters from Lutimterkini.com

According to him, East Luwu has almost all regional development prospects, such as in the industrial and agricultural sectors. "So in terms of natural resources (wealth) it is very supportive, it is very big, you just have to think about how to manage it properly and well," he added.

So how can it be said that East Luwu is the future of the world? Herbudiman explained that the world is now starting to switch with the use of electric vehicles, electronic equipment such as cellphones that require power. The power comes from the battery. "The best quality battery is made from nickel," he continued.

He revealed a number of data and the results of discussions with mining experts, that East Luwu's nickel content is one of the best in the world. "Furthermore, East Luwu's nickel reserves as a district are far greater than Southeast Sulawesi's nickel reserves as a province. "So I can say that one day it is not impossible that the world will look here (Indonesia) because of its abundant nickel reserves and one of them is on the island of Sulawesi, including East Luwu," explained Herbudiman.
