The need for data in development planning and evaluation of government performance is needed. Up to date, accurate and continuous data needs will result in measurable and targeted development. Data on socioeconomic conditions are needed to provide a picture of development achievements and can also be used by policy makers to evaluate development programs. Data related to the needs of community life such as clothing, food, shelter, education, health, safety, and employment opportunities are needed to determine how far the achievement of development results reaches all levels of society. The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is designed to produce socio-economic data of the population in the areas of population, education, health, fertility, and family planning, housing, crime, social culture, travel, and public perceptions regarding household welfare. Starting in 2015, Susenas data collection is carried out twice a year, namely in March and September and this publication is published on the results of March 2019 Susenas.
